CDs will no longer be produced towards the end of 2012

I saw this on the news this morning. I better order my 3 CDs of Lonnie Johnson before I can no longer get my paws on his stuff. So with CDs demise, it cna only mean better grow for vinyl? I'm sorry but this dinosaur needs something tangeable in hand, and not just a file on some hard drive.

If you just saw it this morning, you haven't been hanging out here enough - there have two threads on it already!

Just give it twenty years and there will be a resurgence of CDs, along with people claiming that they sound better than the live performer. Oh, wait - they often do...
