Need some advice on a CD/SACD/DVDA player.
I bought a PS3 slim for games and BR.
I'm thinking about picking up a used Denon DVD 2910/2930/3910 for CD and HD audio. These would "match" my Denon AVR, are readily available, and can be bought for around $200.
Or I could shell out $500 and get a new Oppo 83. Any thoughts? I'm thinking that these particular Denon DVDs might be better/better built than the Oppo for music Cd's and HD audio (they are at the very least heavier). And since I already have the PS3, the Oppo's BR capability is a non issue. I also like the (redundant) idea of being able to use the Denon DVD players to play SD DVDs in addition to the PS3.
So what do you think?
