Over the years, Jeff Lorber has had success as a performer, producer, arranger, and composer. The last decade or so has seen his career return to its jazz fusion roots with several solo instrumental releases.

Keyboards

I was asked what "type" of keyboards Lorber favors on this release, so I thought I'd share it with everyone (good question). While he's known as a big-time synth player, this release features almost exclusively Fender Rhodes and acoustic piano leads (very traditional). The previous Jeff Lorber CD I reviewed does feature some of the "old time" synth sounds (but still has it's share of acoustic piano).

Enjoy,
Stanton
