I am looking for a decent CD player for 80-90 pop/rock music. I have been looking around and it seems both Cambridge audio 640C V2 and NAD 525BEE are within my budget. So, British vs. Canadian, which would you suggest?

p.s. I believe if I pick CA, I will go with a CA Amp; same for NAD, I will go with NAD325 Amp.

If I am not mistaken we answered this same question yesterday....Go ahead spend way more money for a product that isn't as good as the OPPO.Your choice.Amps do not have to be the same brand at all.You need to worry about wattage and ohms of your speakers, all amps should sound the same minus a tube amp vs SS of course.....best of luck to you in case you forgot we offered suggestions yesterday and you are basically asking the same thing today.... http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55769

Jamie2112. Thanks & sorry - I posted here because another member told me I have posted in the wrong section (Amp & AV receiver) yesterday. Also I removed Musical Fidelity from my consideration list since it was sold.

Re: Oppo - I contacted the dealer in Canada, and they said 983 is no longer available and will be replaced by BD-83 (which costs $600 CAD). That's why I am thinking of cheaper alternatives like NAD that costs below $400.

Speakers - I am thinking of something like Paradigm Studio 20.
Sensitivity - Room / Anechoic 90 / 87 dB
Maximum Input Power† 110 watts
Impedance Compatible with 8 ohms
