CD/DVD changer

I am totally ignorant. I have an old Panasonic receiver with a cassette deck. It has two plugins in back for adding CD player--red and white. Would any of the new CD/DVD changers be compatable? Thanks.

yepp, mostly.

sure, virtualy every dvd/cd changer made has stereo audio outputs, you can plug 'em right in to your "cd" input, but without a Surround capable receiver (amp) you won't be able to enjoy the 5.1 channel surround sound that most movies on DVD feature.
