Castles rock
I owned a pair of Castle Warwicks for a couple of years before giving them to my father-in-law who now uses them in his office system. I paid a little over a grand, if I recall correctly. These relatively small speakers put out extraordinary bass for such small woofers. Dynamics are excellent - lots of slam and a realistic lively feel. These would play without strain to high volumes - pretty amazing given their small size. The treble quality is also quite good - refined and unfatiguing - but with excellent detail. They like to be a bit away from the side/rear walls for depth of imaging, but lose some bass reinforcement (this is pretty universal for dynamic loudspeakers). They are front ported so they can be placed on the walls without too much sonic damage (the father-in-law has them wall mounted and they don't image as well and have some midrange congestion as when I had them on stands 2 1/2 feet out into the room - because interaction with the wall - but on the whole do alright up there). I'm not familiar with the rest of their lineup but these represent good value and are actually kind of amazing for the price.
