Carver Digital HTP 9.1 deal

So I'm kinda new around here but I've got a pretty good line on this peice and 2 Carver M1200.2's. And need to know more. Is $3500 a realistic price for new in the box gear?
What about a Xi1850, Xi2600 and ZR1600(all Carver PRO) for $2500? I know it's TONS of power but what are we really talking........ Earthquake power or krispy Cream SQ........? Am I gonna have to hard wire them to the pole outside my house?

What is 6K buying me?

New electronics

Carver builds nice gear, but I wouldn't plan on spending $6k on electronics unless they are drivng >$12k in speakers. If I was spending that much on speakers, I would listen to a lot of speakers. The speakers and the room are the most important audio components.

Also check out the 2-300 watt per channel Emotiva amps in the $1k price range.
