I still have my 15" JBL GTi pro subs from when I was big into car audio. These are 600 rms, 1000 peak. I would like to repurpose these for my home theater I'm building. I've built 4 different enclosures for these subs in the past (sealed, single and dual band-pass). I will most likely build a new cabinet for these but wanted to make sure they would be suitable for home audio (can't see why not). If they are, what type of amp would be recommended and what type of enclosure. I'll reach out to JBL engineering as they have helped me in the past. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. These are 4 ohm speakers.
