Car amplifier+subwoofer problem

Hey :) Today i tried to install my 2500W max subwoofer, has the amplifier with it already installed and was previously used by a good friend of mine, worked perfectly with no problems. Today when i installed it to my car i ran into a problem where the amplifier wont start, i am more than sure that i connected the wiring properly, the electricity gets to the amp and the grounding is also well done. Tested with a tester so it probably wont lie. Also showed it to my friend who owned the subwoofer before. He also told me that everything should be working perfectly but apparently it isnt. He thought that the problem might be with the remote wire running to the amp. The radio i am using is pioneer one, with subwoofer control and really similar to my friends who owned the subwoofer. He told me to buy this one. So from behind the pioneer radio, the remote is wired blue if i am correct. it has a split, one of those i connected to my remote wire which runs into amp. the other goes to the car stuff. The car i have is ford focus 2003 with universal body. How can i control and find the problem i ran into? Since im not 100% sure it is about the remote wire but should be since when i turn on the ignition and even start the car it still wont turn on the amp. Thanks for reading :) I really do appreciate it :)

Sounds like U have the amplifier remote Turn-ON lead wired to the solid BLUE wire. Note that this is ON when in the Radio AM/FM mode as it is for the electric antenna. The wire U want should be BLUE but with a white trace line as this line is always ON whenever the head unit is turned ON...

Just my $0.02... ;)

And another thing i noticed that might help to solving this problem. What if i break circuit there and just connect blue white striped wire from behind the radio to the remote which can be seen on the thumb the black wire that goes to the subwoofers amp. The other one is connected to the cars original wire that turns completely blue there. So i dont know if it helps or not.

SOLVED! There was a problem with the radio remote wiring, or something like that. It didnt output the 12V so had to rewire the remote to the ignition stuff instead to get the 12V to turn on the amp+sub.
