cant stay logged in

every time i change from viewing one thread to another or one page to another, i hve to log in again in order to post anything. If i select the Remember Me? Box it helps but isnt a sure thing that it wont happen.

Also i cant give Thanks to anyone without recieving an error stating that i do not have the clearance to access the page.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

Im running Vista with the latest IE.

sorry, but i'm not familiar with this problem ... but thought it was obvious the problem was:

probably has something to do with the IE security settings, cookies, etc.

I don't know and that kind of problem is hard to diagnose without sitting in front of your computer but the first thing I would do is clear all of your cookies the come back to the site and login.

If you have any utilities that remember usernames and passwords, turn them off or at least clear the entries for audioholics.

Make sure you enable cookies. That's how it tracks you.

this ia a screenshot of the message i get when i give thanks to someone. Although it does ive thanks, i cant see it untill i navigate away from the page and then back to it.

I think it's related. We'd had this exact kind of feedback before and it was due to someone not allowing cookies to be stored and accessed by the site (cant remember if they did it or an anti-virus application did it).

The cookies from this site are harmless and don't track you... they just store session info so it knows that you are logged in, etc.
