I was about to purchase the KHT Zero's when I realized they were 6 ohm nominal....and would put too much strain on my Denon 1610 reciever. It is now a decision between my other two original considerations....(5)DefTech ProMonitor800's for $725...or (5) Aperion Audio 4B's for $650....regardless of the $100 difference I want the best sound...what do you guys think?....background info...it will be paired up with the denon 1610...a 12" SVS cylinder sub....my room is 11 by 11 and 8 ft high....pergo glued down floor on concrete slab with substantial carpeting and Gramma under sub. Would really appreciate any advice. Also if you guys have any other speaker package suggestions under 800 dollars please tell me...would like them to be less than 8 inches deep though

Your receiver will handle a 6 Ohm nominal load just fine. Most if not all receivers will. The amp section on Denon's is quite beefy.

I'm driving 4 Ohm speakers with my 2808 and it barely gets warm.
