I have my Samsung HD TV for three years and am upgrading my AV receiver to a new Yamaha. In the past I used my component cable connected directly to my cable box. It worked fine. I connect the same cable to my monitor out on the Yamaha and the TV display says "format not supported". I was trying to use the on screen display. My unit has the upgrading option (cant recall the right name). I have not messed with that as yet. I did a workaround oon this by running a coaxial cable for the video to another TV input. It works fine. Any ideas?
