Canon released
three new models of projectors this week for multimedia use, the LV-7225, LV-7220 and LV-5220. These new ultra portable LCD projectors are equipped with Canon optics and a 1.6x optical zoom lens with the ability to display a 100-inch diagonal image from only 8.2 feet. Canon's newest projectors each weigh 6.4 pounds. The LV-7225 and LV-7220 models feature an XGA resolution of 1024x768 and support an SXGA resolution through high-quality compression. The LV-5220 projector features SVGA resolution and can support an XGA resolution through high-quality compression. All three models demonstrate quality brightness with the LV-7225 projector offering 2500 ANSI lumens, and the LV-7220 and LV-5220 models operating at 2000 ANSI lumens.
