I have a dared i30 type AB amp with supposed 30 W/channel and it sounds pretty good with my 92 dB sensitivity floor standing speakers. I was hoping to upgrade them a bit to get the most out of this amp and really experience a detailed and dynamic tube sound. Can you recommend some speakers with most bang for the buck in the <$800 price range (preferably <500)? Also would prefer floor standing..
As a side note and a bit off topic, I have always loved the Magnepan speakers but I know this amp probably would not do well with the MMGs right? What is the big difference between these speakers and high sensitivity speakers?
