I have just brought a home cinema package and upgraded my amp to the Cambridge Audio Azur 540r. If i use S-Video out to the screen, do i need to only have s-video in from Sky, DVD, vidoe etc? I currently have composite in and s-video out but no signal is being recieved on screen but works when using composite out to the screen but picture not as good as it should be.

Probably a daft question but i am not entirely clued up on this!

Unless you receiver/pre-pro does video up conversion(based on your answer I'm guessing yours doesn't) you need to have s-video in to get s-video out. Since you are using composite in, you will only be able to get composite out.
