There are 9 studs on the front wall. The closet doesn't stick out and neither do the windows. The setup really has no limit barriers besides what I show besides what would be best for wall mounting. Btechs(33s and 77s)+antec tv mount for my center for the equipment, direct firing surrounds(ascends htm 200s which will be held by strong drywall anchors),ascend 170s, HK 214, and a HSU sub.(which can be boomy in the front left corner) I got the speaker wire(150 feet of 14 gauge), the radioshack analog version 2 SPL meter, and an AVIA calibration disk. The only thing I can't figure out is the placement; please help me. I have read tons, but some great opinions would be excellent.

Right now my ears are at about 56 inches sitting up. Sitting close to the back wall.(behind the window). I plan to use it close to exclusively for HT.

PS:I plan on buying a digital camera this year.

Thanks,
Dan

One thing for sure... Try NOT to sit close to the rear wall. Try to get a minimum of 2' or a bit more from your ears to the wall behind. Optimally, you'd start out about 8.5-9' from the front wall to your ears in a 12.5' long room.

Once you figure out if you can do that, then you can lay out the proper placement.
