I read in one of these forums that HDTVs can play PAL video in addition to NTSC video. Is this true? I have a Sony KV32HS420 HDTV.
I have an all region dvd player with a built in PAL to NTSC converter and I wish to upgrade to a dvd player with upconversion.
I am looking at a region free Panasonic DVD-S77 that does not have an internal PAL to NTSC converter. Before I buy it I want to make sure it will play on my TV.
If the Panasonic won't work, I also found a region free Denon DVD-2910 that contains the Pal to NTSC converter, but the Denon is very expensive.
Does anybody know where I can find a refurbished upconverting region free Denon dvd player at a reasonable price?
