Can someone put this into English for me? Im just looking for a basic explanation in understanding how my receiver works. I don't understand Hz-kHz, %'s, ohm's, etc. Why does it put out different watts at different times? Below are the specs on my current receiver, which is a pioneer vsx-522-k. Also, if any of you can point to the place where I can read about these Hz, kHz, %'s, ohm's, etc., so that I may become more informed, please do so. Thank you!

Amplifier Design: Direct Energy
Channels: 5.1
Power Output Per Channel(20Hz-20kHz,.08%THD@8ohm) : 80 watts
Power Output Per Channel (1kHz@8ohm) : 110 watts
Power Output Per Channel (1kHz,1%THD@6ohm) : 140 watts

Okay, spent mostly all night looking for articles. From what I've found, the main thing I should pay attention to is the 20Hz-20kHz spec., which is 80 watts, and this is good enough for what Im doing, especially if I add some good speakers. The things I read also said that a "THD" below 1% is usually considered good. Im still confused about the ohm's a little bit, but intend to keep reading. JB had already told me that my receiver was good enough for what I would be using it for and the speakers mentioned, and I believed him alright, its just that I want to be able to understand "why" my receiver will meet my needs. Anyway, if this thread is in the way, I hope the Mod will just delete it. I don't want to get in trouble, Im just searching for answers.
