Can someone help this newbie decide????

Hi,

Trying to decide between 2 good deals on a starter 5.1 home theatre speaker system.

1) Athena Micra 6 center and 4 - sats. for $150.00 to be used with my D-Box 302 sub. or.....

2) Polk Audio 4 - Rm101S Sats., rm202 center and PSW10 Sub for $350.00.

What would you get. Is there much difference between the 2 systems??

Will be used is a 15' x 15' room. 50" Plasma Panny, pioneer amp.
Mainly for TV, XBOX and DVD, some music.

I would avoid cheap subwoofers from Athena and Polk if I where you.

I can't find any information about the subwoofer you are using.

The Athena system sounds like a pretty good deal.

I agree the Athena setup does look good but I would maybe look at a better sub. You could get the velodyne vx-10 $170 or x-sub $200 or bic H-100 $250 and it will give you much better sound.
