Can I use the Focusrite Saffire 6 as an active crossover?

If not, why? Noob question
No, because it is not a crossover, it is a crude digital mixer for digital recording, via USB, which has big time latency issues.

There is nothing about this unit that makes it remotely usable as an active crossover!

You need mini DSP if you want an active crossover.

thanks! I think I'll get that and the miniStreamer if they ship to my country. But from what I've seen, you can't make live changes, right? You have to load them into the dsp
