Can I use Logitech Z-2300 2.1 PC speakers with an old stereo receiver?

So I have two giant JBL floor speakers that sound great, but I would like some better bass and mid-high. I have a decent Logitech Z-2300 2.1 set up but it's clearly made for PC uses (only input is a 1/8"). I found and fixed a old Pioneer VSX-D1S stereo receiver. Can I hook up the Logitech Sub that has two satellite speakers attached to it with the receiver and would it sound good?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If the receiver has pre-amp outs, you can use an RCA to minijack cable like this For only $1.44 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 6inch Premium 3.5mm Stereo Female to 2RCA Male 22AWG Cable (Gold Plated) - Black to hook them up. This would be fairly pointless though as you'd be turning your receiver into a source selector and very little more [given that hte speakers already have volume control].
