I have no idea of the specifics of those two microphones, but can tell you that they are definitely not of the same design.
Generally speaking, a good microphone with accurate response from 20Hz to 20kHz is expensive.
I expect the mics normally used for RC programs are not very accurate, but the manufacturer gets around that problem by knowing how much to compensate the measurements - IOW, there is a calibration file for the Audyssey microphones and one for the YPAO microphones (which we never see because it is built into the room correction program). The chances of them being very close seems a very long shot!
For $15, I don't think it is worth the gamble!
