I went to this nice chinese restaurant called pei wei (price is cheap, $7 for a meal)
Jazz was being played and I could feel the bass through the booth I was seating on. I wasn't sure where the subwoofer is located but I could see they invested in professional equipment.
I am running 6 orb speakers in 900 sf area for my yogurt shop.
the sound quality is awsome (unless a customer is an audioholic who brings his own classical cd and ask me to play it to feel the quality)
anyways I want to add subwoofer so I can hear nice smooth jazz songs.
I want the subwoofer sound to be distributed evenly.
I don't like in wall subwoofer since I don't like the look and it's too much work to cut the sheet rock
I have a drop ceiling (4 foot space between roof and drop ceiling) and I was thinking what if I hang the subwoofer inside the drop ceiling, in the middle of the room.
I think people can feel the subwoofer subtle way (of course , I don't want subwoofer for hiphop stuff)
it sounds ghetto installation but I think it would work all right
what do you think?
