RCA cables and "digital coax" cables are the same. As long as it is a 75ohm cable it should work fine. I have found digital coax signals to be very robust. I can run the coaxial output from my PC through 50 feet of RG6 coax cable, two switches, and a cheap/thin RCA cable and the signal is perfect.
