Can A&B power amp terminals be used to Bi-Amp Front speakers?

I have a Denon POA 2200 that has A&B speaker connections. I was wondering if I could Bi-Amp my Klipsch RF7 front speakers with those connections?

The answer is an emphatic NO. The A & B outputs run off the same amp. So it would be the same as bi-wiring. Both bi-amping and Bi-wiring passive speakers is a complete waste of time and money. It provides miniscule extra power to the speakers. Bottom line is come up with a better idea, and not nonsense.

Thanks for that. Please consider staying involved. It is great to have new members willing to learn and not argue the toss to the point of ridiculous.

thanks I always appreciate the help! I have another newbie question. The Denon does not have signal sensing or a trigger input. What are options for turning it on with my receiver other than walking up to it and pushing the power button?

Niles used to make a handy device for doing just this. They are pretty simple and I could make a plan. However your easiest solution is probably a power sensing power strip.

That link will give you the pain of choice.

Thanks for all the pointers As they led me to my Furman Elite 15J power conditioner which had switched outlets when receiver was turned on so that problem is solved.

Running into another issue. I had a LED spectrum analyzer display (not an equalizer just display) that I had connected thru the in/out RCA jacks on an older Sony receiver. The new Denon x6700h does not appear to have those connections? Is there a ”work around fix” for that?

If it was just a display why did it need the in and out connectors of the tape loop? I would have thought it would just need out, and you could use a zone out.

My first impression is that display unit should be categorized under pointless, so no great loss.
