I realize that the ar30 is considerably less powerful than the 640a v2, but has anyone had a chance to compare the overall sound quality between these amps? I'm looking to buy one for a bedroom system, so I don't need uber power, but I do want clean, detailed amplification. These would be driving a pair of B&W 685's.
A smaller amp would be ideal, but I'm not sure that the Sonata can deliver the same kind of sound that the 640a v2 can. Has anyone had the opportunity to compare both?
