Cambridge Audio CXN v2 question

Greetings
Does the Cambridge Audio CXN v2 have a setting or adjustment for Subwoofer output?
CXN is analogue out to Cambridge CXA81 amp, then subwoofer out
We use the same subwoofer with two systems (2ch & Surround) and the CNX is too hot and must turn the Sub level down to about 8 o'clock position.

Can't find anything in either manual.
I haven't checked the output voltage with a meter yet, but when I say the output is hot. it's has a higher output than any other pre/pro or receiver I've ever used.
I may have to talk with an engineer friend to see if we can come up with a dropping resister idea.
