I like tinkering with all my gear and my new projector is no exception.

My previous RPTV was ISF calibrated, and I was very happy with the results. However, I don't have that in the budget and was wondering what all the gizmos, meters, and software cost.

Basically, what tools do I need to perform the following:
Greyscale adjustment
Color decoder / gamma
Measured light output

I've read about CalMAN, and have the Avia Home edition for DVD. However, I'd like to be able to calibrate the 720P and computer inputs as well as the 480p and NTSC inputs.

All help appreciated!

As far as I know, the tools used by an ISF technician run into the thousands.
