Calibrated tuner but no speaker sound

I have a brand new Onkyo TX NR3010 and I connected all my speakers including two out door. At one point the right side outdoor speaker stopped working. I've checked the calibration and sound comes out during set up...however, when music plays, the speaker produces very low sound, almost in audible. Reading through the manual but am at a loss as to why it calibrates but doesn't play sound...

It is an Onkyo and has failed already.

Try a system reset and if that does not work it is return time.

Any chance it might be the speakers themselves? When calibrating the speaker I hear a minor calibration sound from the left indoor left side speaker that makes me wonder...

Never heard of all speakers failing at once, unless the receiver failed an blew them all up with DC offset. That would have caused a lot of smoke.

You can test the speakers with 1.5 volt battery. You will hear a thump, thump as you connect and disconnect the battery across the speaker leads.

Dollars to doughnuts its the Onkyblow.
