Has any one directly compared the 2? I had hoped to buy a new SVS but ran into some money problems so a budget sub is all I can afford. I've been looking into these 2 but can't tell if either of them is better. I'm leaning towards the BIC since I already have Acoustech Mains and Center and I have heard of some quality issues with the Cadence (Hum + needs Y splitter). No big deals but the BIC shouldn't have those issues.
I've seen an SPL of both and the Cadence seems to have a slightly louder pull and drops off lower than the BIC, although the BIC appears to go just a little lower than the Cadence. It's hard to tell if this is accurate though because the SPL's were independent and taken by 2 different people so different equipment and room sizes were used.
Has any one found a direct comparison of the 2?
