Cabling between Denon 3806 and Acurus A250

I currently have the Acurus A250 (250W x 2) and want to add the Denon 3806 to power my center and rear surround speakers. Since my front speakers are B&W DM604 (rated at 200W at 4 ohms), I'm thinking the Denon will not be powerful enough, and want the Acurus to drive my front speakers. How would I connect my Acurus A250 to the Denon 3806?

Is the Acuras a 2 channel amp? If so, just run audio cables from the Denon front channel pre-outs to the amp.

Yes, the Acurus is 250W x 2.

Where can I find a good link of a picture of the connections on the back back of Denon 3806?

MDS,

That's perfect! Thanks for your help.

As to the HDMI switching, I have a DirecTV H20-600 box with HDMI output. Will this be compatible with the Denon 3806? I had read on other sites where there was some concerns, but don't know the exact details.

Also, looking at maybe the Oppo OPDV971H. Will this be compatible with the Denon also?

HDMI issures

The HDMI compatibility issues are a combination of the source (DVD or cable box), the receiver, and the HDTV. From what I have read, the cable box is the source of most of the issues.

Use component and optical audio cables from the cable box to the receiver, then hdmi out.
