Greetings
Trying to learn what is best.
Optical cables or degital-coax?
Is there a noticable diference in the sound quality?
I love good sound, movies and music.
Right now this is what I'm looking at:

HDMI cable 1081P certified
sonicwave #40279

velocity toslink #40390
or
audioquest

HDMI has the highest bandwidth for audio.

For digital interconnects, I don't believe there's any difference between fiber-optic and coax in regards to sound. I like fiber 'cause it's neat. That said: run HDMI over either if possible.

I recommend BluejeansCable (better, especially for HDMI) or monoprice (less expensive and still quite good).

If they're both decoding digital signal, what difference should be apparent, in your opinion? Other than possibly being involved in causing a ground loop, using the digital coax should sound exactly hte same as optical.

Read the tutorials on the home page for cabling before you spend all kinds of big bucks on cables that don't make a difference.
