Out of curiosity, at what price point do you honestly think these three products go from being reasonable to snake oil?

I think that is tough to call and may be different for each one.

For speaker cable I use Canare 4S11. Reasonable price and very highquality.

All my HDMI cables are Monoprice CL2 rated and are the diameter of my thumb. I have runs up to 25ft and never had an issue.

Analog interconnects I now make myself. I buy good quality RG6 and have compression connectors for both RCA and F-type. This way I can make them the exact length I want and it is always nice to make your own stuff.:)

At the point where the cable is more than $1/foot and the connectors are more than about $10/pair. More than that is just spending money on things that won't make a sonic difference. Multiple conductor cabling can exceed this price, understandably.

I'd say simple way to tell is if cable cost 100% or more than same type/length cable at Blue Jean Cable then it's a snake oil :D
