Anyone having issues with their cablecard? I have replaced the Scientific Atlanta PowerKey card 4 times.
I have a HLR5067W Sammy dlp and use Brighthouse Cable (TimeWarner) as my provider.
Upon installation the card works fine for a few weeks, then the HD channels drop off ("signal problem" or so says the error message), then a message pops up that the channels are updating but you cannot clear the message from the screen. New card is fine then it starts all over again.
Brighthouse upgraded its hardware on the street and in my house so signal strength is not an issue.
Tier 2 tech at Samsung relates that there are only 3 cards on the market, and that there are no firmware upgrades available from them. They suggest you keep changing cards until one lasts.
I will do this a few more times and then go back to a box.
