Does anyone have advice on organizing cables, getting them off the floor, re-arranging them so you can tell which is which, etc. Are there any low-cost audio racks with cable management that have lots of useable shelf space or just cable management devices such as cable straps and wire cages I can get? I have been looking all over the Internet searching, and all I have found so far that remotely matches what I'm looking far is a Wire Management Cage from Tigerdirect, but it is meant for Wire Shelving Systems and EIA Racks which I don't have. The best way to contact me is through e-mail (alan@darragh.com).

Thanks,
Alan

One inexpensive way is to use Middle Atlantic rack rail in a rack enclosure of your choosing. I have a smaller wooden stereo rack that I put rack rail into and am using lacing bars (Middle Atlantic) with lots of zip ties. It takes a while to set things up nice, but in the end, everything works and looks nice.

The best way is to custom make all your cables to exact lengths and zip tie them in. That way you aren't stuck with an extra foot of cable... times 15 components... to deal with.
