Cable Interface Question

Hello everyone, I been a lurker for some time now and I can't seem to find the answer to this question. Perhaps I am going about my project backwards but could someone share their thoughts please.

I am remodeling a Hurricane Charley house and pre-wiring all that I can think of. I have 2 structured wiring cabinets, one dedicated to whole house audio and HT. I have run all my speaker cables to this enclosure and I have provided a removable panel inside a closet behind my future entertainment cabinet. There are (7) 4x4 low voltage boxes at 9" vertical intervals to service future components accessible from the removable panel and the structured wiring box.

I desire to terminate my speakers wires (14 gauge, 2 conductor) to a terminal strip in the structured wiring box and then continue to the component low voltage boxes with RG6 coax cable fitted with F-connectors to match my OnQ type wall plates and inserts.

I want to use European style T strips at this transition point (structured wiring enclosure), my questions are?

Is there any specific T strip I must use (separate strips for plus and ground, etc.) ?

Should I tie all the shielding from the coax cables together and then bond the this group to the ground on my receiver and amps?

Will this create ground loops, or will this eliminate them (all power is on 1 dedicated circuit)?

I'm not familiar with T strips, but I am confused by the description of your plan. If you could elaborate a bit more I may be able to help.

Typically one would not run speaker wires to the wiring closet unless of course that is where the actual equipment will be located. If you were to use some kind of speaker selector in the wiring closet, I could see running the speaker wires to the closet.

I guess I don't understand the relationship between speaker wires, RG-6 cables, and OnQ wall plates. Wall plates for speaker wire should have binding posts, unless you are talking about using RG-6 for your subwoofer, in which case you could terminate them with RCA or F-pin and use an male F-pin to female RCA adapter.
