Cable caution for neophytes....

like myself! LOL Just received a new cable from Blue jeans. Decided to order a coaxial RGBHV to function as both the component video and the L/R audio. Cable is of excellent quality, picure and sound are excellent. UNFORTUNATELY, if I would have take the time to read carefully, I would have learned that this cable is an inch thick, and very (and I mean very) stiff. I was going to use it on a plasma hanging on the wall, routing the cable through the wall to a DVD on the other side. WAY too stiff for this. Will go with a standard component/audio cable/techflex setup, which will be more flexible. Always read the whole description! (insert little smiley guy smacking forehead) :D

follow up

The guy at Blue Jeans was excellent. He insisted that I send the cable back. Even though the fault was all mine. He suggested a newer RGBHV cable that is much thinner and flexible for my short 10' run. It has arrived, is about 1/2" in diameter, very flexible and works great. Excellent company.

Yes. Isn't it amazing, some companies don't know how far to bend over to please while others will break first and not help.
Yes, this company deserves repeat business. Too bad cables last a long time;)

I ordered a component cable from them a couple weeks ago and I've been very happy with it. I'll definitely let them handle all of my cabling needs from now on :)
