Cable box or TV scale the video?

Hi guys,

I have the Westinghouse LTV-27w7 LCD tv. it looks really nice!! It is being fed by the my Scientific Atlantic Cable box (the Explorer 8000HD) via component cables.

How do you think I should set the cable box?

Pass through (which lets the tv do the scaling so it passes CBS at 1080i, abc at 780p, etc) or

Fixed at 780p (which feeds the tv only 780p stuff, which is the tv's native resolution).

Try it both ways (it's free ) With my cable box I preferred it just passing through the signal and having the display do the work.
