Bypass on board subwoofer amp?

I am toying with the idea of using one of my M-1.0t amps in bridged mono configuration to drive my Velodine CT-150 subwoofer. I'll bypass the Velodine's on board 250 Watt
amp.
The M1.0t produces 1k watt in bridged mono configuration.
Do any of you think this would improve the velodine's performance?

Cheers
