Buzzing sound from tweeter...

I have a pair of Cremona floor standers driven by a Simaudio 5.3 integrated amp. With the volume control turned all the way down, there is a slight fuzzy buzz emenating from the tweeter. Speaker cables are Audio Note, loose paired - not bound tegether like zip cord.

Is the humming normal - it's barely audible.

Signal to noise

You usually will hear some buzz or another if you put your ear against a speaker with the volume turned up. The issue is, can you hear the buzz in the quiet passages at normal listening levels from your seated position? If the answer is no, you have an adequate signal to noise ratio. Then sit back and enjoy your system.

The slight buzzing is with the volume turned all the way down. I'm probably just being nervous as I recently purchased the speakers used from a local owner. Anyway they sound fantastic - I'm just a bit concerned with the faint buzzing from both tweeters.

Your integrated amp probably has some noise no matter what the volume level is, since the amp still picks up electrical noise from within the enclosure, and that's probably what you're hearing. If something was wrong with your speakers, it wouldn't be just a buzz. If it doesn't bother you, then that's great. The only thing I could recommend is getting a new amp, but that's not something worth caring too much about, IMO. Enjoy your new setup!
