Buying used Paradigm speakers

I just looked up craigslist and found couple people are selling their paradigm speakers. I got couple questions here:
1. what should i take a careful inspection when buying used speakers?
2. how much would a pair of used monitor 5 worth?
3. anyone knows about Paradigm 9SE MK II?

I just bought a pair of Studio 20's v.4 off of AudiogoN. I think most here would tell you that is a more reputable site to purchase from, although if you are making your purchase locally and can inspect the speakers in person, I suppose it's not relevent.

Make sure the guy fires them up for ya
Inspect cabinets for scratches and nicks
Check the connectors to see if they are loose
Take off the grilles and look at the speaker surface

That's all I got. . .I'm not a veteran by any means.

Definitely give them a listen and do a thorough inspection of the cabinets & drivers as Npeart suggests. The 9SE is similar to the 7SE which I had for a period of time - very nice sounding speaker. The studio line is going to be a different beast. Are they from the same seller? Give both a listen and decide which you like best.
