buying some speakers

hi every one
i have this reciver VSX-AX3-S http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/product_detail.jsp?product_id=5068&taxonomy_id=62-98
and i want to buy some speakres
i saw some but i don't know if they are good enough the company is Alpha Technology i hope they don't make trashy speakers so here are the details about the speakers:

please help me to decide oooo and the price is about 500$

Well, I for one have never heard of them.

You really can't judge speakers by a photo or by specifications. My gut feeling is that they're not likely very good based on the fact that I've never heard of the company.

Yet, I'm surprised all the time by things I don't know! If YOU like the sound of them, that's all that matters. If you're buying them from the internet or for some other reason you can't hear them, I would avoid them. For the price, I'd be inclined to check out some Athenas at Best Buy instead.

They sure look pretty.

But, that's about all I can say about them. One thing you might want to keep in mind is that they have no website and/or nobody has ever heard (or heard of) them, you might want to be wary.

i have some more questions becuase i'm a beginner in the speaker stuff so i'm gonna need your help...
i think that the company is very important and i saw some more stuff around my area like: ADC, JAMO, Dome & Pure Acoustics
from all this companys the only one that have a web site and large collection of speakers is jamo and Pure Acoustics but i don't what to decide i rellay liked the DOME sooo can you give me some suggestions to decide.....

Why don't you peruse the consumer reviews section on this site? Likewise. look around at some previous posts that ask the same questions.

And, Where are you, anyway? Regionality sometimes figures into some choices. Some stuff ain't available everywhere.

Listening to a speaker is the only way to find out if you want to spend your money on it. No matter how good a speaker may sound on paper it has nothing to do with how your ears will respond.

I have a friend buy speakers off of the internet for an amazing price. Well to make a long story short they don't sound as amazing as they look. I would stick to a speaker you can hear before you buy it. If you have heard these speakers and like the way they sound by all means go for it. After all your ears are all that matters.
