Butt kicker amps

I am wondering if anyone has used these for a subwoofer amp. It seems like they are just a class d mono block. If they can do 1000 watts for around $250 it seems like they are a great deal. Any experiences???

It has been awhile - so you may want to check yourself, but I was looking at them pretty hard too for a sub amp. I believe I discovered thought that they had very poor distortion specs... Actually I can't remember if I found a spec or I found where they had been tested - but in any case I think it was distortion that scared me off.....
