I am thinking of buying Denon DCD-700AE or CDC-1500AE. There is a Burr-Brown DAC chip inside. I wonder what is the part# (PCM-17??), and how does it compare to other DAC performance wise. Is the reconstructed analog sound acceptable, etc. I wonder what other Brand of high end CD player, or D to A(not the transport) also use Burr-Brown, and which Burr-Brown do they use. Is DAC really important, and why.... I am learning, and thank you all in advance.
