I use Nero 6 to burn, and EAC to extract. This works very well for me. Personally I've found Mitsui to make the best media, and I've never yet had any of their media fail. I also use a few Pro Disc's here and there since their inkjet printables are only about $.20 each. Very good stuff for the price.

Another Nero user here. Works great and DVD Shrink seamlessly integrates with it.

I have Memorex DVD+R discs for burning which I have been happy with.

There are lots of features to do just about anything you can imagine. I've had hit and miss luck with CD media. With Memorex giving me plenty of coasters. But DVD is a different story. Using several different brands of media including Memorex and some really cheap stuff I have yet to burn a coaster.

I've had pretty darned good luck with ProDisc DVD-R media, probably because Pioneer rates them "A+" and I use a Pioneer burner.

Really, I've found that the CD Manufacturer has little to do with the quality of it. I use Durabrand (read: Wal-Mart Brand) and have never had a problem with them.

I forgot to mention that this works so well it makes monkeys picking stocks look like rocket science. Seriously, that is the reason why the movie studio execs are shaking in their boots. :D
