I just wanted some opinions if you really get a better speaker by building from a kit? Here is one I was thinking of:
Parts Express Dayton
Any feedback will be appreciated.

Yes, kit speakers can be a great way to get a lot for your money. See my sig for another great choice: GR Research. I haven't heard any of the Dayton kits, but I do get the monthly mailer and most of their kits look decent.

The Dayton kits are very nice. You can't expect to get a pair of Apogees out of them, but very nice for what they cost.
Fun to build.
Pride of knowing that you built them with your own hands.
