Budget constraints. In a 3.2 setup can I go down a model with left and right speakers without screwing up the front stage?

Hello everybody, I’m new so I’ll keep it short. In a nutshell, I want to save money (don’t we all), these l/r speakers would help me do that;

Left/Right
Center
Subs

Thank you for your thoughts.

Chris

Short answer: I wouldn't skimp on L/R. I always try to match L/R/C. In your case, there are different materials used for the. tweeter / Mid / Bass than the Center.

Maybe see if there is a middle road between the center and LR thats financially better. The left and right will “drag” the center down if too big a difference(and the other way around also).Maybe go ported sub or a step up there also unless you are going for 2.
