I have a bsr eq3000 which I bought long ago and I need either a user manual or just a diagram of the hookup to my amplifier. I have the usual tape deck, cd player, phono, VCR and DVD player.

if this is a graphic equalizer and you use Dolby or DTS, you don't want it in-line with your DVD player. The receiver will be looking for a specific signal pattern, and the equalizer distorts that. It's possible for the sound decoder chip in your receiver to fry itself trying to correct what the equalizer puts in. :(

if you do use a lot of movie sound, I would just run the CD player inputs to the equalizer, then on to the receiver. the CD will get the most benefit out of it, but not put your receiver at risk. :)

if this is not actually an equalizer... ummm well ummm how about that NFL Draft ? will Clarett go or be sitting at home the rest of his life ???
