Bright Room: Plasma-LCD-DLP

Please give me some real world advice - store personnel are not helpful.
I am looking to purchase a 42" - 46" HDTV that will go in a room that has three(3) 45" by 54" windows that receive western sun everyday. It will not be possible to darken the entire room. The windows are tinted and we do have blinds, but we currently battle with glare from on our 14 year old sharp 32".

Which type of set Plasma-LCD-DLP will work best in this environment?

LCD will give off the least screen glare. I was set on getting my folks a plasma in their new house but when I sat the light that enters the room I'm going to have to switch to an LCD.

I would go with a LCD flat panel display. Not a LCD rear projector or other rear projection technology - but a flat panel.

These have the least reflection and product the best contrast ratios under higher ambient light conditions. Since you know that it is a major issue, then that is the way I would recommend you go.
