Has anyone heard about this vendor or used them before to buy equipment?

I don't see anything on the site to indicate that they are shady. I do not like that they don't provide much in the way of company information, but likewise, I am not finding any of their prices to be phenomenal.

Keep in mind that many manufacturers won't honor any warranties should you purchase their product online in the first place, and this company seems to be less than supportive in case you do have an issue with a product, so I would keep that in mind.

Take a look at what else may be out there for a similar price and if the price is good, and you call them, and everything seems good, then it may be worth giving them a try.

Do not. I repeat do not buy anything from this website. They are a bunch of Jerks and they will give the the biggest headache and take your money and send you nothing.


I ordered my center channel form these guys on Dec. 8th 2005. As of today it has not arrived. They have told me 3 times that my speaker has shipped and have given me no tracking number and I have still not seen my speaker. They keep telling me ohh it shipped and will be there some time first of next week. Well it has been over a month and guess what still no speaker and they have already charged my credit card. I have been nice, and been not so nice, threatned and still no speaker. They assured me today that they will for sure ship my speaker but I am not holding my breath and preparing to take legal action.

Like they said in the other thread - just call the credit card company and cancel the charge.

If this happens enough times they won't be able to accept credit cards anymore...

Do not buy from brand-electronics.com

I ordered a Polk RM-6900 speaker system from them. First, I didn't receive a confirmation about my order. So I call 2 days later to confirm and inquire, some dude with an accent answers the phone like it's his own personal cell I'm calling...wierd? No professional greeting or anything like that (not even, "hey this is ____", just hello (half-assed). I inquire about my order, he says that they don't have it and they don't know if they'll get it. So...I asked him "Well, do you think you might have given me the courtesy to let me know". He acts like he barely comprehends my statement. So I told him I expect my card will not be charged, I will contact my credit card company to notify and told him his business practices were crap. So far, I havent had any bogus charges to my card nor have I noticed any bogus accounts opened on my credit, which has been surprising. I'm sure they'll change their website to another name soon enough though.
